IMAGINE
OUR SCHOOLS INPUT
Imagine Our
Schools ( IOS ) is a long-range planning process
focused on engaging the public in a constructive
conversation about the future of our schools. HRSB
wants Innovative ideas from schools, the communities
they serve, and the broader public as they determine
how best to meet the future educational needs of our
students. HRSB is asking the public to get involved,
to take the time to look at the complex set of
issues surrounding school facilities and the
delivery of educational programs, and to have a
voice in this critically important issue. In the
2007-08 school year, the first phase of IOS,
involving five Metro Families of Schools, was
completed which included Cole Harbour District and
Auburn Drive High Schools. The remaining 10 families

PEACE & GOODWILL TO ALL |
|
|
I
would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone
a very happy and safe Holiday Season. During this
joyful time of the year there are many types of
spiritual and cultural celebrations. Season's
Greetings, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, Merry
Christmas, Joyeux Noel, Peace On Earth and Goodwill
to one and all. Have yourself a blessed time with
your families, neighbours and friends. I encourage
everyone to strive for peace, tranquillity and
harmony in your lives. Remember those that may be
less fortunate who are experiencing hardship and
despair. Please give to your local food bank or
donate blood - the gift of life. May I, and my wife
Susan, wish you all good health, happiness and
propersity throughout the New Year. All the best of
everything in 2009 - God Bless ! |
