HRM FACILITIES MASTER PLAN

HRM is creating a 20 year plan for community facilities throughout our municipality. The Community Facilities Master Plan ( CFMP ) will indicate what type of facilities will be constructed, improved, and recommendations for possible partnerships. It will also incorporate an arena capacity study and future planning for outdoor facilities such as athletic fields, baseball fields, soccer / rugby pitches, and sport tracks. Open houses will be held at various locations throughout HRM. These open houses will showcase research and planning to date, and an outline of proposals for the CFMP, plus an opportunity to speak one on one with the CFMP Steering Committee and HRM staff involved in  the project.
